Stephanie Greenman is a transition coordinator in Calhoun County. She is starting her 22nd year in special education and has provided transition services to students in Arizona, Colorado and Michigan. She has been involved with implementing community based instruction programs and is now in a position with the CISD of assessing and recommending students for programs at Calhoun County Career Center or to work based learning sites, as well as connecting students and families to outside agencies in her area. Stephanie’s involvement with MI-Tops and MTSA has broadened her knowledge of transition and given her the resources to build capacity within Calhoun County. This is the first position she has held with MTSA. She continues to network in Calhoun County and her role as region representative has enabled her to make a greater impact for the students, families and her colleagues in the area of transition.
